Oddball Blanket #4 had a FAST visit in Kansas with knitwit628.
Knitwit628 did a wonderful job, using some bright purple yarn!
Now, our blanket has to get ready to travel to Texas for some bonding time with Secksiebrat, then beckyrhae, and finally with stacy.duval.

Our 4th Blanket is safe in Kansas!
Yippee! Our blanket survived the trip through the US postal system, and has arrived in Kansas. Knitwit628 will now get to spend two weeks adding her knitting to the blanket.
I wonder what the weather is like in Kansas? I hope there are no tornadoes!!

ANOTHER Oddball Blanket!
Believe it or not, the members of the Knitting Help Forum are making ANOTHER Oddball Blanket. This will be our 4th blanket.
If you're wondering what an Oddball Blanket is, here's all the facts:
We cast on 300 stitches with a size 8 or 9 circular needle, using washable worsted weight yarn. Each knitter knits all the way across the row over and over again, until 3 inches of knitting has been done. When each knitter finishes their portion of the blanket, they mail it to the next person on the list.
Here is how the blanket will be traveling throughout the continent, beginning and ending with the blue square in North Carolina.
We are being creative, choosing different knitting stitches and different colors of yarn. It's neat to see what each person decides to do with the blanket when they receive it.
Also, sometimes we include extra gifts for the next knitter, just for fun.
OH! And we aren't just making the blanket for ourselves.
It will be given to charity when we finish.
So, without further ado, here is the beginning of our 4th blanket!
The first section was knit by Sandy in North Carolina.
Now, the blanket is traveling to BostonBecca in Massachusetts!
